Competitors must comply with the following conditions of age: Only those whose 20th (twentieth), 21st (twenty
first) or 22nd (twenty second) birthday occurs in the year of the competition are eligible to compete.
Competitors must be able to present, if requested to do so by the Technical Delegates, an official document
stating their birth date.
A maximum of 3 (three) athletes entered by any one EAA Member may compete provided that each athlete has reached
the qualifying standard so far set for that event. Provided that any EAA Member enters only 1 (one) athlete for
any event, such an athlete shall not be required to have reached the qualifying standard for that event.
Qualifying standards must be achieved in bona fide competition (either indoors or outdoors) between the 1st
January 2004 and the closing date for final entries (5 July 2005).
2 (two), 3 (three) or 4 (four) athletes can initially be entered per event provided all have achieved the entry
standard for that event.
Entry Deadlines
According to the EAA Regulations the following entry deadlines apply for the European U'23 Championships:
