The airport connects the city with the following direct destinations:

It should be taken into consideration that rather small planes operate between Erfurt and the above mentioned
domestic airports.

Erfurt is an important rail junction in the centre of Germany, located at one of the major
rail tracks: Frankfurt/M. - Erfurt - Halle/Leipzig - Berlin - Warsaw - Moscow.
All trains stop, respectively start/end at Erfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), located
directly on the edge of the old city centre.
